Writing The Living Spirit was never part of a grand plan. I have never been comfortable talking about myself, yet I felt compelled to share my journey for those experiencing similar questions and uncertainties.
A DIFFERENT JOURNEY
Psychic functioning and spiritual experiences are often presented as something natural and effortless. For me, the reality was very different. I spent many years questioning, resisting and trying to understand experiences I neither expected nor welcomed. Accepting this path was not easy, and it became one of the greatest challenges of my life.
THE BATTLE WAS NOT WITH SPIRIT
My journey was marked by resistance, doubt and uncertainty. Along the way came scepticism, criticism, misunderstanding and, at times, jealousy.Ironically, some of my greatest challenges came not from spirit, but from the living.
FINDING ACCEPTANCE
Over time I learned that acceptance is not about having all the answers. It is about courage, trust and allowing the path to unfold. From that journey, The Living Spirit: One Woman's Battle Amongst Ghosts, Spirits & The Living was born.
